Data processing refactor: records handled per run
More than 10x capacity (900%+), and the timeouts stopped.
- Batched and consolidated HTTP requests in the data processing layer to remove a critical throughput bottleneck.
- Led a full front-end refactor and redesign for a client, turning design specs into production UI through review cycles.
- Added eager loading and server-side pagination to key data views, cutting page load times and database queries on large datasets.
- Introduced Docker to replace the MAMP local setup, giving the whole team one consistent development environment.
- Traced high-priority production incidents through logs, database queries and system tracing, then fixed the root cause.
- Deployed to staging and live over SSH, ran Agile and Kanban sprints, and led client meetings.
